BEFORE EVERYONE PLAYS
One shared phone or computer runs the game. In Taking turns, add names and age groups for each player. Group play opens each question to the room, with points awarded by the host.
That’s what Taking turns is for: choose an age group for each player, starting with ages 4–6, and their questions are pitched to that group. You can also choose the difficulty and topic. Young children play with a grown-up hosting.
No. Web play uses tap choices. The optional browser microphone is experimental and has not passed our real-room test. The installed Android app supports spoken answers; its Google Play release is awaiting approval.
Saved questions can start in a few seconds. A new custom round usually takes 30–90 seconds while the questions are written and checked. The app shows what is happening, and a game only counts when it starts.
You can choose the Family Pass at $9.99 a month, renewing until you cancel. Your free game needs no payment details. Web checkout and receipts show LineTemp, the business behind SnapTrivia. Manage or cancel your web pass from “Your pass.” Android purchases are managed through Google Play.
Player names stay on your device. A topic or photo goes to the game service to make the round; age groups use placeholder names. There are no ads or advertising trackers. See the privacy page for game records, speech services and your anonymous-results setting.
One phone. Good company. SnapTrivia.
